Veterinary Intelligence Company Acquires Antelligence to Advance Veterinary Market Intelligence

Acquisition expands insights behind The Fountain Report while transforming dynamic veterinary data into real-time intelligence for better business decisions

SEATTLE, WA — August 31, 2026 — The Veterinary Intelligence Company (Vet Intel), a veterinary market data and insights company, today announced its acquisition of Antelligence, combining Vet Intel’s technological expertise with Antelligence’s data and content, with the goal of providing organizations serving veterinary medicine with more timely, actionable, and accessible information for better business decisions.

Vet Intel transforms fragmented and rapidly changing market data into actionable insights that help organizations better understand their customers, identify opportunities and make smarter business decisions. Designed to serve as the intelligence layer for the veterinary industry, Vet Intel fills critical gaps in traditional CRM and business systems by identifying what is changing across the market and providing context behind those changes.

Antelligence provides veterinary industry content, market insights and data that help organizations better understand the market and make informed business decisions. Built by a team with decades of experience providing insights to the animal health industry, Antelligence brings established data resources, trusted content, deep industry relationships and engaged audiences to the acquisition. Combined with Vet Intel's technology capabilities, these assets will create a more dynamic, real-time and complete view of the veterinary market.

Vet Intel was co-founded by Adam Little, DVM, a technology entrepreneur, and Ben Church, a Silicon Valley technology leader with deep experience in data, startups and technology, including work with companies such as Uber and Airbyte. Together, they bring veterinary industry knowledge and Silicon Valley expertise in managing and moving data at scale. The lead investor in Vet Intel is Jon Ayers, former chairman, president and CEO of IDEXX Laboratories and a longtime animal health leader and investor.

“Today, animal health companies are operating with incomplete, inaccurate and out-of-date information,” said Little. “Established companies may have years of stale data embedded in their CRM systems, while newer companies spend hours searching ChatGPT and Google to assemble their own sources of truth. We provide accurate, actionable and comprehensive industry intelligence, delivered where teams already work.”

The pace of change is already evident in Antelligence's data. During the past two years, the company has tracked more than 32,000 veterinary clinic locations. In the past 18 months alone, it has recorded more than 7,000 practice openings and closings across the veterinary landscape.

Its resources have grown from an initial directory of corporate veterinary groups to databases encompassing all enterprise and independent veterinary practices, combining automation with human review to identify anomalies and validate information. Dozens of industry-leading customers rely on these resources to power their sales and marketing teams.

Vet Intel will use technology to continually identify, organize and analyze changes across the veterinary ecosystem, while expanding beyond publicly available data through established and new data partners and its own proprietary insights. The result is designed to provide organizations with a more current, accurate view of the market for strategic, commercial and operational decision-making.

Chris Kelly will transition from CEO of Antelligence to chief commercial officer of Vet Intel, focusing on customers, industry relationships and new ways to put the company’s expanded data and insights capabilities to work.

“For me, this starts with the people and a shared commitment to putting the veterinary industry first,” Kelly said. “Adam, Ben and the Antelligence team believe in building things that make this industry better and help people make better decisions. We have accurate data, strong content, engaged readers and deep industry knowledge. Adam and Ben bring the technological expertise and business acumen, gleaned from similar yet different worlds, that will exponentially expand our abilities. I believe this will benefit our customers and ultimately create significantly more value for the veterinary profession and the pets it serves.”

For animal health companies and other organizations serving veterinary medicine, Vet Intel will provide deeper visibility into market dynamics, practice and ownership changes, workforce trends and other signals that influence business strategy. The company’s technology is also designed to deliver information where customers need it, including integration into existing business systems and updates based on specific customer needs.

The acquisition will also expand the insights behind Antelligence’s publications, The Fountain Report, Pet Care
Weekly and Veterinary Student Insider, while preserving the news, analysis and industry perspectives readers
have come to rely on. All publications will continue under Vet Intel.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Why Not Tell Your Story Too?

Spring is a busy time in the cattle world. It’s prime season for sales—-bred heifers, bulls, select cows—you name it. Flipping through the pages of this magazine, you will notice a portion in the back dedicated to premier cattle sales and auctions. We support cattlemen from the small farmer to the larger specialized operations. We try to connect the right buyers with the right sellers. If you are interested in doing a Producer Profile, contact Dustin Hector at dustin@twinriversmedia.com.

That’s where the Producer Profile series on The American Cattlemen Podcast comes in handy. If you have an upcoming sale, get your voice out – literally. Through our “Producer Profiles” you have the chance to reach your audience, tell them how you specialize in your success and tell us about your upcoming sales.

Marketing Options

Let’s talk about marketing for a minute. If you’re like most producers, you’re great at raising top-notch cattle, but getting the word out? That’s a whole different ball game. The good news is podcasts can help.

The “Producer Profile” series isn’t just for buyers—it’s a golden opportunity for producers to share their story. Whether you’re running a small family farm or managing a big ranch, podcasts let you reach a huge audience without breaking the bank. Traditional ads can be expensive and limited, but one podcast episode? That can reach listeners across the country—even around the world.

You can use this platform to show off what makes your livestock special. What sets your genetics apart? Why should buyers choose you? A podcast lets you connect with potential buyers on a personal level. They’re not just buying cattle—they’re buying into your story and your operation.

To potential buyers, these episodes give you an inside look at different cattle operations. You’ll hear about their breeding philosophies, how they manage their herds, and what makes their genetics stand out. And it’s not just dry facts—you get to hear directly from the producers themselves. It’s like having a conversation with someone who really knows their stuff.

By listening to these profiles, you’re not just buying cattle—you’re investing in the vision and hard work of the producer behind them. Plus, you’ll probably discover some up-and-coming producers you might not have heard of otherwise. It’s a win-win: better genetics for your herd and a bigger network for you.

Looking Ahead: Podcasts Are the Future

The cattle industry might be steeped in tradition, but there’s no reason not to embrace new tools like podcasts. They’re easy to access, cost-effective, and a great way to build real connections. Platforms like The American Cattlemen Podcast make it easier than ever to bridge the gap between your hard work and the buyers who are looking for exactly what you offer.

Podcasts do more than just share information; they bring the cattle community together. With episodes that highlight upcoming sales and showcase different operations, The American Cattlemen Podcast is becoming a go-to resource for connecting buyers and sellers across the nation. Whether you’re selling your cattle or looking to buy, these episodes make it easier to find exactly what you need.

Upcoming sales aren’t just transactions—they’re events. They’re opportunities to share your hard work with the world and connect with others in the industry. Advertising your sale through a podcast episode means your message reaches beyond your local community to a nationwide audience of ranchers and producers. By sharing your story and highlighting what makes your cattle unique, you can turn a good sale into a great one.

So, as you gear up for fall cattle sales, don’t overlook the power of podcasts. Whether you’re tuning in to learn more about genetics or sharing your own story, podcasts can open doors to new opportunities and lasting relationships. Give it a try—you might be surprised at just how far your story can go.
