Matt Burbank Named CEO

Matt Burbank, St. Catherine, Mo., is the new chief executive officer of Seedstock Plus, LLC, the
nation’s largest full service genetic supplier of Gelbvieh and Balancer genetics.

“Matt’s proven track record and previous service to our organization make him the logical choice
to lead Seedstock Plus into its next era,” says Brian Dunn, president of the Seedstock Plus Board
of Managers. “We’re excited to work with him in expanding opportunities for our members and
commercial cow-calf clients.”

Matt grew up with Seedstock Plus. Until recently being named CEO, Matt’s father, John
Burbank, served as the organization’s only CEO since it was established in 2000. John and his
wife, Laurie, were among the Seedstock Plus founders. Since then, Seedstock Plus has developed
and marketed more than 22,000 bulls to more than 4,100 customers in 40 states, Mexico and
Canada. Current Seedstock Plus membership includes 33 seedstock producers from eight states.

“Since the beginning, Seedstock Plus has aimed to provide commercial cattle producers with
genetics that fit their unique production environments and marketing goals, backed by cutting
edge genetic evaluation and customer service,” Matt says. “This goal continues as we help our
customers and members navigate the evolving cattle and beef industries.”

“Seedstock Plus continues today as it began, an organization serving as the intersection between
seedstock producers building genetics of integrity and commercial cow-calf producers utilizing
these genetics to their benefit,” John explains. “I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish
so far, and I look forward to watching the organization progress under Matt’s leadership.”

Cammie Burbank, Matt’s wife, assumes Laurie Burbank’s previous responsibilities, including
Seedstock Plus office management and record keeping. John and Laurie will continue serving the
organization in advisory roles and providing customer service.
