Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.
Nature of Promotion: Eligible participants may enter to win the grand prize according to the following General Rules & Guidelines. Please read these rules before entering the contest.
Sponsor.  The sponsor of the Grow #TrueLeaders Contest (“Contest’) is American Cattlemen www.americancattlemen.com/contests/trueleaders
 
Eligibility. The “ Grow #TrueLeaders Contest” (“Contest”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old as of the start date of the Contest. Contest is void elsewhere and where prohibited or restricted by law. All entrants must have a valid email address. Entrants may only submit one (1) entry per household for the grand prize drawing. By entering and participating in the Contest, you agree to be bound by these official rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements set forth below. No purchase or payment of any consideration is necessary to enter the contest. The following individuals and their household members (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter the Contest: advertising and promotions agencies, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, successors and assigns of each of (i) Sponsor, (ii) Bekeart, and (iii) National 4-H Council (4-H).
Contest Period and How to Enter. Contest begins at 12:00 a.m. ET on June 1, 2016. All contest entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on July 24, 2016 (“Contest Period”).

During the Contest Period, you may access the Contest by visiting the American Cattlemen website at www.americancattlemen.com/contests/trueleaders and clicking on the “Enter Now” button, completing the online registration form and then uploading an original photographic image of your child or relation who is a responsible, hardworking true leader (“Photo”) to receive one (1) entry (“Entry”).  All eligible Entries must be received according to dates provided in the Contest Period. By submitting an Entry, you understand that your Entry may be displayed in an online Photo gallery, to be viewed by members of the general public. Limit one Entry per person throughout the Contest Period. Entries received after the deadline set forth in the Contest Official Rules are ineligible, null, and void. American Cattlemen will not be responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect entries. American Cattlemen is not responsible for entries that are sent but not received by American Cattlemen for any reason.
There are two (2) ways to enter the contest:
Online:  By being nominated, or “shouted out” by someone other than yourself at [www.americancattlemen.com/contests/trueleaders].
Facebook: By being nominated, or “shouted out” by someone other than yourself at [Facebook url].

Limit one (1) entry per person/email address for the entire contest period. No automated entry devices and/or programs permitted. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, stolen, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, technically corrupted or garbled entries, which will be disqualified, or for problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic. Only fully completed entries are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors. In case of dispute about the date of entry, the official clocks for this contest will be the American Cattlemen computers

Entry Requirements: In order to be entered into the Contest, entrants must comply with registration instructions when submitting their Entry.  All Entries submitted become the property of Sponsor upon submission and will not be returned. Please make sure to note the following requirements when creating your Entry:
Photos must be no larger than 20MB and in one of the following formats: jpg, gif, png;
The child you feature in your Entry must be directly related to you;
You must be the parent or legal guardian of any child who is depicted in the Entry;
Your photo must correspond with the True Leader theme listed on the Contest Website;
Entries must comply with the Official Rules and any Terms of Use posted on the Contest Website and must meet all specifications or requirements called for on the Contest Website;
Do not include material in the Entry that violates or infringes another’s rights, including, but not limited to, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright or trademark infringement;
Do not include material in the Entry that is sexually explicit, violent, inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous, libelous or otherwise objectionable;
Do not include material in the Entry that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
Do not include in the Entry or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, other than 4-H, Bekaert or American Cattlemen, or contains any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses;
Do not include material in the Entry embodying the names, likenesses, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without prior written permission, other than the members of your immediate family;
Do not include material in the Entry that communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate;
The Entry must not depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law; and
Do not include material in the Entry that is harmful to other users of the Contest Website, such as viruses, trojan horses or other technologies that could adversely impact the Contest.
Any Entry that is not in compliance with the above Entry Guidelines or with these Official Rules may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.  All Entries become the property of Sponsor upon submission and will not be returned. No specific information regarding Entries, voting or judging, other than as otherwise set forth in these Official Rules, will be disclosed.
Contest Description/Odds.
Two grand prizewinners and an alternate (if a winner cannot be qualified) will be selected based on a random drawing on  (July 24, 2016). The grand prizewinner will be announced on the American Cattlemen, Bekaert and 4-H website and Facebook on (August 1, 2016).
The grand prizewinners will receive prizes as described in #6 below. By accepting the Contest prize, winners fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
Notification. The grand prize winners of the contest will be notified by email to the email address provided in the entry and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Media and Information Release within seven (7) days after prize notification. The grand prize winners will also be required to provide a valid US mailing address to which the prize will be delivered. If the grand prizewinners of the contest cannot be contacted within five (5) business days, or if any prize is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, including eligibility, the prize(s) will be forfeited and awarded to the next alternate winner drawn.  Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given to the first person selected. Limit one prize per person or household.
Prizes. Two winners will be eligible to win a $500 cash prize. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions. In the case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All taxes and expenses not listed in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the winners.
License/Usage and Materials. By accepting the prize, winners agree to the use of their names, likenesses, biographical information, and/or statements for purposes of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
All photos, videos, drawings, text, and any other content or information (collectively and severally called “Materials”) that you submit to the Contest shall become the sole and exclusive property of American Cattlemen, and American Cattlemen shall have no obligation to preserve, return, or otherwise make available to you or others any Materials.
You hereby grant to American Cattlemen, the non-exclusive, unrestricted, unconditional, unlimited, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, and cost-free right and license to use, copy, record, distribute, reproduce, disclose, sell, re-sell, sublicense (through multiple levels), display, publicly perform, transmit, publish, broadcast, translate, make derivative works of, and otherwise use and exploit in any manner whatsoever, all or any portion of your Materials (and derivative works thereof), for any purpose whatsoever in all formats, on or through any means or medium now known or hereafter developed, and with any technology or devices now known or hereafter developed, and to advertise, market, and promote the same. Without limitation, the granted rights include the right to: (a) configure, host, index, cache, archive, store, digitize, compress, optimize, modify, reformat, edit, adapt, publish in searchable format, and remove such Materials and combine same with other materials, and (b) use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any Materials for any purposes whatsoever, including developing, producing, and marketing products and/or services. You understand that in exercising such rights metadata, notices and content may be removed or altered, including copyright management information, and you consent thereto and represent and warrant you have all necessary authority to do so.
In order to further effect the rights and license that you grant to American Cattlemen to your Materials, you also hereby grant to American Cattlemen, and agree to grant to American Cattlemen, the unconditional, perpetual, irrevocable right to use and exploit your name, persona, and likeness in connection with any Materials, and that of any other person depicted in or otherwise included in your Materials, without any obligation or remuneration to you or any other party. Except as prohibited by law, you hereby waive, and you agree to waive, any moral rights (including attribution and integrity) that you may have in any Materials, even if it is altered or changed in a manner not agreeable to you. To the extent not waivable, you irrevocably agree not to exercise such rights (if any) in a manner that interferes with any exercise of the granted rights. You understand that you will not receive any fees, sums, consideration, or remuneration for any of the rights granted in these Terms.
We do not want you to, and you should not, send any confidential or proprietary information to us via the Site. Except as otherwise described in the Site’s posted Privacy Policy or any Additional Terms, you agree that, notwithstanding your retained ownership interests (a) any information that you or individuals acting on your behalf provide to us will not be considered confidential or proprietary by us – regardless of whether you mark them “confidential,” “proprietary,” or the like – and will not be returned, and (b) to the maximum extent not prohibited by applicable law, American Cattlemen does not assume any obligation of any kind to you or any third party with respect to your Materials. By providing any such information, you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publicly perform, transmit and distribute such information. You further recognize that we do not want you to, and you warrant that you shall not, download, upload or otherwise provide any information to us that is defamatory, threatening, obscene, harassing or otherwise unlawful, or that incorporates the proprietary material of another.
Upon American Cattlemen’s request, you will provide documentation necessary to authenticate rights to such content and verify your compliance with these Terms or any applicable Additional Terms. You acknowledge that the Internet and mobile communications, and digital storage, may be insecure and subject to breaches of security so that your Materials is submitted at your own risk and you agree to hold American Cattlemen harmless with respect thereto.

In your communications with American Cattlemen, please keep in mind that we do not seek any unsolicited ideas or materials for products or services, or even suggested improvements to products or services, including, without limitation, ideas, concepts, inventions, or designs for music, websites, apps, books, scripts, screenplays, motion pictures, television shows, theatrical productions, software or otherwise (collectively, “Unsolicited Ideas and Materials”). Any Unsolicited Ideas and Materials you submit are deemed Materials and licensed to us as set forth below. In addition, American Cattlemen retains all of the rights held by members of the general public with regard to your Unsolicited Ideas and Materials. American Cattlemen’s receipt of your Unsolicited Ideas and Materials is not an admission by American Cattlemen of their novelty, priority, or originality, and it does not impair American Cattlemen’s right to contest existing or future intellectual property rights relating to your Unsolicited Ideas and Materials.
American Cattlemen may, but will not have any obligation to, review, monitor, display, post, store, maintain, accept, or otherwise make use of, any of your Materials, and American Cattlemen may, in its sole discretion, reject, delete, move, re-format, remove or refuse to post or otherwise make use of Materials without notice or any liability to you or any third party in connection with our operation of Materials venues in an appropriate manner. Without limitation, we may do so to address content that comes to our attention that we believe is offensive, obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, violent, harassing, threatening, abusive, illegal or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate, or to enforce the rights of third parties or these Terms or any applicable Additional Terms. Such Materials submitted by you or others need not be maintained on the Site by us for any period of time and you will not have the right, once submitted, to access, archive, maintain, or otherwise use such Materials on the Site or elsewhere.
American Cattlemen may use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish, and otherwise make use of Materials in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter worldwide to further our mission without compensation to you of any kind.
By submitting Materials to the Contest, you represent and warrant that the Materials do not infringe on any copyright, trademark, property rights, rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party and that you have the full and unrestricted right to transfer the Materials to American Cattlemen free and clear of any claims or encumbrances.
You acknowledge and agree that American Cattlemen shall have no obligation to post, display, or otherwise make publicly available any Materials that you submit.
You acknowledge and agree that American Cattlemen may make Materials that you submit available for public viewing, and commenting. You acknowledge that comments or ratings that you disagree with or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with Materials that you submit to the Contest. By submitting Materials to the Contest, you waive any privacy expectations that you might have with respect to the Materials.
You agree to hold American Cattlemen, and Contest sponsors, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns harmless from and against—and hereby waive any right to pursue—any claims of any nature that arise in connection with American Cattlemen’s use of the Materials submitted to the Contest and used in any manner is American Cattlemen’s sole and absolute discretion.
Release. By participating, entrants and winners agrees to release and hold harmless American Cattlemen, its advertising and promotion agencies and Contest partners, including Bekaert, National 4-H Council, and each of their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with participation in Contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Contest-related activity and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Neither Sponsor nor its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, divisions nor related companies are responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that winners might incur as a result of this Contest or receipt of prize. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this Contest in any way, will be disqualified.
Terms. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, Entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned (a) an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address, or (b) the phone number used to text.
Any attempted form of entry other than as set forth above is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor, its affiliates, partners and Contest and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Contest, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading any materials in this Contest.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Contest should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest. In case of termination, Sponsor may determine, in its sole discretion, to select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to the disruption. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or web site. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives. Sponsor is not responsible if Contest cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
