Educational Course Work at the Noble Research Institute
Welcome to another episode of the American Cattlemen Podcast. Today’s episode takes us to NCBA CattleCon 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. Gale sits down with Hugh Aljoe to discuss The Noble Research Institute’s educational course work and how it is growing. Noble Research is dedicated to helping farmers and ranchers in their goal to help bring food to the table. Noble has a vast number of educators, researchers, and scientists to help further the skills of any producer. This is Gail McKinney with the American cattleman here at cattle con 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. And I have my friend Hugh Aldo with me today. He’s with the noble Research Institute, and we’ve talked to Hugh, he’s a friend of the program two or three times. And we did the regenerative series with noble here about probably 678, months ago, and that was a joy to do. And Hugh, I’m here today just to check in and see how’s the program going. Well, I’m glad you asked. Gail, you know, one of the things we’re really proud of is just how far we’ve advanced our educational coursework, because we’ve got a little bit of a curriculum that now actually links our soil health to our grazing management, to our profitability essentials, and combining the grazing and the profitability and all that together to a business a grazing course. So all that lays there, right there to help people where, if they need some sort of element looking at how to improve their lands, their grazing lands in particular, we in particular, can help them with their education and with their outcomes, with tangible tools, tangible resources and connection back to us or whoever the expertise is in Your area in order to help them advance their own operations. So Hugh, how is the program going enrollment wise, and students coming in? Well, it’s hard to really say the enrollment, because some of those courses just got started here late last fall, and then, of course, then we get into the holidays. But we’ve got a first quarter courses already out there. We’ve got several of them already full. Second quarter, we’re beginning to unveil some of the opportunities we’re going to present to the public. So there’ll be another opportunity here for a long main thing is look on the website and register early, because our courses are 30 people, two instructors, two facilitators, is really what it is, and we want to make sure they have the opportunity. Who knows, we’ll be back in that area, but they’re all around. We’re trying to get further around the country so that people have the opportunity wherever they’re at. I know I was going to ask you that you had alluded to back long ago, and I asked the question, are we going to be in the Midwest? And you said, eventually we’ll get there. Is it expanding and growing? It is expanding and growing. We’ve already got horses going into California. We’ve got some being planted in Wyoming as well as in Wisconsin. So we’ve got people asking about it in Florida, and we just booked a whole bunch of them there in Missouri. We’ve got got them. It’s expanding broader and broader.
