All-New Ratchet Head Gate Locking Technology
Designed using a ratchet style locking system, the locking mechanism on this cattle head gate is a complete transformation from the well-known Q-Catch. Through continuous research and feedback from ranchers, we learned about the pain points of the Q-Catch and made improvements, making the Arrowlock a completely redesigned head gate that brings something unlike any other to the industry.
The ratchet mechanism ensures a secure hold on your cattle every time – no matter the size or temperament. By eliminating the risk of animals slipping out of the head gate, you are guaranteed a safer working environment and peace of mind during handling. We also know how challenging and scary it can be if an animal gets hip locked in the cattle chute, which is why we’ve eliminated this issue with the Arrowlock. If by chance an animal does get hip locked in your head gate, simply apply a little more pressure than normal to the operating handle when opening, and the head gate should pop open seamlessly, releasing your cattle with no issue.
Like the Q-Catch, this cattle head gate features all the same unique 3E: Easy Entry and Exit technology, which greatly improves the flow of your livestock. By incorporating a barred curtain-style design, light is brought into the cattle chute, which works with cattle behavior to draw them through the chute without a problem.
