Celebrating Women in Beef: American National CattleWomen Hosts Inaugural Cowgirl Cotillion and Awards Gala

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The American National CattleWomen (ANCW) recently held its inaugural Cowgirl Cotillion and Awards Gala on February 3, 2025, during the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) Cattlemen’s Convention. The event celebrated the organization's mission of legislation, promotion and education of consumers on the benefits of beef as the number one source of protein.
The event, which was attended by industry leaders, ranchers, and beef enthusiasts, celebrated the contributions of women in the beef industry and recognized the outstanding achievements of ANCW members. Attendees were treated to an evening of live entertainment by acclaimed country music artist Red Steagall, as well as the presentation of the prestigious CattleWoman of the Year award to Cheryl Foster.
“The Cowgirl Cotillion and Awards Gala was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the remarkable women who have been shaping the future of the beef industry for 72 years,” said Nikki Weston, President of ANCW. “As an organization, we are committed to empowering and supporting
women in agriculture, and this event highlights the passion and dedication of our members.”
In addition to recognizing the CattleWoman of the Year, ANCW also acknowledged the generous support of its long-standing sponsors, whose contributions have been instrumental in the organization’s efforts to promote the benefits of beef consumption and educate consumers about the industry.
